Although we don’t have a studio, we do host public paint nights at several locations. Keep updated by following our Art Attack! Paint Party Facebook page for all public events.
What is Art Attack! Paint Party?
Join us for a personalized step-by-step Art Party with expert guidance from Julie Kukreja, BA, MFA. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll have a great time creating your masterpiece with Julie’s skills and advice. She brings the p-art-y directly to you. Get ready to unleash your inner artist and create something truly unique!
What to expect — Birthday parties need to allow for 3 hours.This gives a cushion to make sure we can fit a 2-hour painting with a dry break for food and the end of the party for cake and gifts.
Julie will come 30 min early to set up. Tables, chairs, and tablecloths are to be provided by the host. If tables and chairs are needed, you can rent them from Julie ($8per table, $2per chair). These parties are generally not messy, but occasionally there can be an accident. Covering floors is up to the host. You can rent a party room at a restaurant or a park district building for other party location ideas.
It’s NOT recommended to have summer outdoor parties. The heat dries the paint too fast, brushes tend to get ruined, and then there’s wind. Garage spaces are a bit better if room in the home is not an option. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due when booking the party.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Event: ART ATTACK PAINT PARTY
Please read and acknowledge the following:
- Acknowledgment of Risks: I understand the risks involved with participating in the ART ATTACK PAINT PARTY, which may include physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, economic or emotional loss, and even the possibility of death. I acknowledge that these risks may arise from my own actions or others’, during travel to and from the event, or while at the event locations.
- Release of Liability: I hereby release PEN & MOUSE DESIGN HOUSE INC., located at [address], Algonquin, Illinois, along with their affiliates, managers, members, agents, staff, volunteers, and other related parties from any claims, injuries, liabilities or damages that I may incur as a result of participating in the activity.
- Medical Authorization: In case of an emergency, I authorize PEN & MOUSE DESIGN HOUSE INC. to provide any necessary medical treatment and agree to bear any costs associated with such treatment. I confirm that I have adequate health insurance necessary to provide for and pay any medical costs that may be attendant as a result of injury to me.
- Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless PEN & MOUSE DESIGN HOUSE INC. from any claims or lawsuits including but not limited to those relating to my injury or death, caused by my participation in the event, whether caused by me or others.
- Confirmation of Physical and Mental Fitness: I attest that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the event and will abide by any decision made by the event organizers regarding my ability to safely participate.
- Jurisdiction: The terms of this agreement shall be governed by Illinois law without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
- Severability: If any provision or part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement will continue in effect as if such invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained herein.
PARENT/GUARDIAN WAIVER FOR MINORS (if applicable)
I, the undersigned parent or guardian of the minor named above, do hereby agree to the terms and conditions of participation in the event on behalf of the minor.
Confirm: By submitting form, I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age, or that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant if under 18. I have read this form and fully understand that by signing this form, I am giving up legal rights and/or remedies which may be available to me.
